Old and New: Jonah's Reaction

Jonah was confused at the mandatory gathering of so many men. He froze as four hundred and twenty four men shed their clothes at a shouted command. Jonah heard Samuel laugh as he hastily stripped, but was too shocked to stop him. He felt gentle hands unbutton his shirt.
"Jonah, breathe you are turning a horrid shade of red." Landon said, and continued sarcastically, "think of this as your Baptism into our world."
"Acquiesce, Jonah. As Landon references the New Testament, I'll take a page from Proverbs of the Old Testament, and I'll not spare the rod tonight." Gordon stated.
