This Drabble Follows Old and New: Jonah's Reaction

Samuel had never felt this way before. Standing in the middle of an icy cold Vermont river, surrounded by hundreds of men, from various nationalities, of all sizes and ages, some sporting cheeks redder than others.

Samuel couldn't help but laugh at the antics of some of the men. Some of the men were playful; some showed signs of arousal despite the freezing water. He turned to see his lover, standing knee deep in the river. The smile on Jonah's face was all the reassurance he needed. No, he never felt this way before; he had never felt so free.
