Charlie smiled as he moved around the kitchen. The toaster popped and his smile widen as he laughed softly. Joe had been working long hours lately and they hadn't had much time to take advantage of the new kitchen. Luckily, this was going to make up for it.

Carefully balancing the plates, he laid everything out exactly how he wanted it on their bed.

Turning on the tv, he smiled as he enjoyed a quick bite of hot, buttered pop-tart before queuing up the DVR; ready to get caught up on Castle in the peace and quiet of the house.

"I'm going to throw up. This is no one's business."

His brother shrugged. "The media decide what's their business."

"Yes, but this is deeply--bedroom- -personal. People shouldn't have to do this."

Another shrug. "What can I say? After last year? You have to show the idiocy of the situation."

"You're right. It's gotten out of hand." Cameras flashed as he pushed back the curtain. "I wanted to address the issue you seem obsessed with." He glanced at the notes as if he didn't remember his line. "As you suspected, for as long as I remember, I have been heterosexual."

“We’ll have a nice blanket to sit on.”

“On the hard ground with rocks and bumps. I want chairs.”

“The fresh air will be good – you’ve been stuck at work too long.”

“It’s suppose to be 95 and 90 percent humidity.”

“We’ll sit in the shade.”

“Oh good, it’ll only be 93.”

“The food will be excellent – brownies and fried chicken and chips.”

“Brownies are good. KFC chicken?”

“Of course. And, can’t forget ...”

“What?”

“I plan on stripping you bare and having my way with you all afternoon – I love how it sounds in the woods.”

“I love picnics.”
