To Brat Or Not To Brat
by Chris Dangerfield

To Brat, or not to Brat: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous Tops?
Or to take arms against suspicious minds,
And by opposing end them? To do lines? To be spanked?;
No more; and by not-spanked to say we end
the butt-ache and the thousand unnatural pains
that Tops do commit us to, 'tis a consummation
devoutly to be wished. Methinks? To Brat, to play;
To have fun: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that joy of the Brat, what dreams may come...

The Struggle

Written for the June 2011 Tea Room To Brat or Not to Brat Challenge

The Struggle

by PJ

Hearing a commotion, Link ran up the steps into the kitchen. He heard swearing coming from their bedroom. Stopping short, Link struggled not to laugh. Wes was jumping, twisting & turning, colorful words escaping his mouth. Link grabbed his bouncing brat demanding to know if he was hurt.

“NO” Wes growled as he finally finished pulling on the tights.

“You aren’t going to the Renaissance Faire in those tights, Babe”.

“You’re kidding, right”? Wes whined.

“Nope, the only person enjoying this view is me, now change or we’ll be late”. Slapping Wes’ ass as he passed by leaving the room.

To Brat or Not to Brat
By Carol

My brat's head was on my shoulder; we were laid out on the sofa chest to chest. His long legs were between mine. I held him tight to me and gently rubbed his bare back to get him to calm down; his bottom was still a lovely shade of red, from the spanking I gave him not that long ago. I whispered softy to him to settle him down some. His snot, tears and saliva soaked my shirt, but I didn't care as long as he knew I still loved him. I could still see a few hand prints on the back of his legs. I kissed his forehead, and he looked at me.

"We're good?" He asked with a shaky breath as he rubbed his face into my shirt.

"Always," I told him giving him a one arm hug and kissing his forehead again. "Did you learn anything from this?" I asked as I always d--sometimes I get an answer, sometimes I get a shrug. This time I felt him nod into my chest. "What?"

"When to brat and not to brat," he told me giving me a silly smile.

"Chase, you've been working on your assignment since I arrived home." Jason said. "See college isn't as hard as you thought it would be. I'm proud of you." Chase felt a warm glow inside as Jason told him he was proud of him. "I didn't know Shakespeare was so cool. High school literature class sucked, but this professor makes it interesting. We have to take one of Shakespeare's quotes and write an essay showing how it applies to our lives." "Professor Stanley is good, she relates to her students and their needs," Jason replied. "Are you almost finished? Would you like to read it to me?" "Yep, just finished. OK, you ready?" "Yes." "The Beast with Two Backs and How it Applies to My Life," Chase started then stopped as Jason interrupted. "Chase, I don't think that's an appropriate quote." "I thought you might say that, so I have another one. Want to hear it?" "I may regret this but yes." "A Spanking by Any Other Name, Would Still Feel the Same." "I have one for you," Jason said. "To Spank or Not to Spank, That is the Question." Chase laughed and replied, "I think you are making Much Ado about Nothing." The End

Shall I Compare Thee to a Naughty Child?

Shall I Compare Thee to a Naughty Child?
by Jay
with apologies to William Shakespeare

Shall I compare thee to a naughty child?
Thou art more wilful and more resolute:
A boy may be reproved with comments mild,
But words curb not thy conduct dissolute.
Sometimes I think, to test my love and bounds,
Thou need’st me to endure without complaint,
Yet my reflective thought thy rage compounds:
Thy tricks would try the patience of a saint.
But when contrition floods thy wayward soul,
And guilt and shame thy joyful spirit crush:
Then gladly dost thou bend unto my role,
As I do strive to make thy bottom blush.
In thy submission dost devotion lie,
My love and care for thee will never die.
