Fall Colors

Tax season getaway coming and such needed timing. Traffic would be okay and the trees lining winding roads a symphony of color. Still some lime, also yellows, light oranges tinting into deep oranges and spectacular reds. My favorites. Don't laugh.

My hand snapped downward. I was paying attention. Too much for him. He loudly let me know.

"I'm SORRRY. You said rake the leaves this morning and today means today. I'm SOORRRY..." 

Almost... a few more strokes and my hand came to rest.

Can my smile be loving AND satisfied? Sorry, but my favorite fall color was right before me.
